The sacred Norse tree of Life Yggdrasil - This has to be one of my favourite pieces to cut and work on.
The tree is cleaned and polished, heat is applied to specific areas to give it this stunning colour variation, with blues, purples and even golden brown areas on the trunk of the tree.
The final added detail is to give the appearance of the trunk a more realistic look, this is done by using a hand grinder carefully adding that all important attention to detail!
 
Size of Tree shown is approximately 60cm diameter (600mm).
Others sizes are available 40cm and 50cm - design is the same.
